Few screenshots from the TERRAble project. First one shows the mesh, it's very high resolution right now but that's mostly just because I have the power to render it. The mesh moves with you and is vertically offset by a heightmap texture.
Second screenshot shows how the terrain is partitioned into Mip-levels.
Third one shows it rendered real-time @ 1900x1200 in 66 fps.
Next on the agenda is more realistic athmosphere/fog, water with propper reflection/refraction, vegitation and better lighting.
